Snapshot Sunday: Hoop Play

Learning to play with polypro (cumbia) 0 02 33-03

This week I got myself outside for some hooping.  I haven't done that in . . . well, let's just say too long!  It was great fun, even if it was quite challenging using my hoop made from polypro tubing.  I love this hoop because it is fast and responsive, but it's also hard to keep going around my waist because it is light and rather small.  Still, playing was fun, as all play should be.  You can check out the video results of my session here and here (yes, that's Zumba music I used), and find the ego booster the made my day yesterday here (I had to share it!).

What are you playing with and/or snapping for this Snapshot Sunday?

Love it! You look so happy in your videos. I want a polypro hoop so bad. I need to get back into hooping fully again however.

  2. Great photo, Beth! And the one at is terrific too. :)I have my Snapshot Sunday photo up at Circular Praise; took it at my church this morning.

  3. Good for you for getting out! I cannot wait to be able to hope daily, barring rain, daily. I am buying my children a swingset tomorrow and I know deep down and secretly part of the reason is so they can play and I can play with my hoop!I just buy a set of much lighter hoops. I can use for doubles and singles. I ADORE them for somethings but it is HARD to keep them up around the waist. So now I think I can going to get yet another hoops slightly heavier. I am so glad my hubby doesn't mind my growing hoop collection. Have a hoopy day my wonderful, fabulous friend!

  4. Dang woman! How do you DOOO THAT!!! I am so happy you got outdoors ... it seems like the ultimate place to hoop...not that I'd know. I have to add again that you RADIATE joy when you do that. Your face like, shines. Or something from inside just comes out. Oh, and I saw the chihuahua.
