Rally

This is not a fantabulous example of hooping by any means . . . but it's what I've been doing, which also happens to represent some nifty personal victory. Plus, it's fun, regardless of how nerdy I may look. Happy [mostly] wordless Wednesday!

Holy cow! How fabulous is THAT? The hooping is one thing, the Shakira is another, but the obvious joy is the best! Can you see my standing O?Whatever I may do today will not come close to that happiness. (Maybe I'll go look for my roller blades.)Have a great day! www.commonsense-dancing.com

  2. OMG! I love this! You are fantastic! That makes me want to run out and get a hula hoop but I know that I'd suck so instead I'll just watch your video again. (=I'm glad you found me for #WW - I'm so glad I didn't miss this.

You better post this on Hoop City (if you haven't already) or I will, girl!To Jenn, Kristen and anyone else who may think you can't hoop, I'll say this: Come join us on Hoop City (www.hoopcity.ca). You'll find plenty of videos that inspire and teach, as well as links to makers of everything from basic workout hoops to some jaw-dropping LED and fire hoops. The toy store hoops are not where it's at, ladies - go custom! Hope to see you there!Betherann, excellent hooping! Glad to see you spinning again. :D

  8. Ok, I am amazed. I had NO idea anyone did it like that. I thought you were just talking about doing it around your waist for 5 seconds and then it falling to the ground. At least, that is my experience with hooping. It must have taken some time developing that routine and I can imagine it takes a good level of fitness to perform it start to finish. Nice job. I have a new respect for hula hoops!
