Spring Gratitude

Even though this is supposed to be my Wordless Wednesday post, I cannot stay silent. I absolutely must say thank you to everyone who commented on yesterday's post on self-image, self-love, and self-care. Although I enjoy blogging for my own edification, I also am drawn to using my corner of the web as a mode of communication. When the stars align and my random thoughts and words make an impact on readers (as seemed to happen yesterday), I am humbled, excited, and gratified all at once. In other words, thank you for reading, for reacting, and for writing back!

  2. Betherann, Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and the flowers here are lovely. I think what I like most about the photo is how some of the edges are just starting to wilt and yet the flowers really retain all of their beauty. They may not be 100% perfect, but there is something very compelling and beautiful all the same. I had to read your last post after checking out this one and I just wanted to say that I too usually hate the person staring back at me, but trying to take care of that person might be more manageable than declaring my undying love for her. Thanks for sharing you experiences. You will be surprised when someone is in your shoes and they turn to the vast internet to find some reassurance. I hope when that time comes, they find your blog. <3 -- Christina (at umeorigami.com)
